The LSC Tulsa metro network encompasses over 130 route miles of high-capacity dark fiber infrastructure. Originally built as a core 50-mile network, LSC expanded the footprint by adding two new rings totaling 80 additional miles. This expansive, high-fiber-count loop is purpose-built to scale with the high-bandwidth requirements of Tulsa’s emerging tech and data center ecosystem.

The Tulsa metro network serves as the central intersection point for two major AI-generation long-haul corridors: the 400-mile Amarillo-to-Tulsa route (linking Amarillo, Oklahoma City, Stillwater, and Tulsa) and the 500-mile St. Louis-to-Tulsa route. Together, these routes provide a highly resilient mid-continent transit pathway for data moving between Midwestern and Southwestern cloud environments.

100% of LSC’s 130-mile Tulsa metro ring and its connecting long-haul infrastructure are built entirely underground. To guarantee optical signal integrity for massive Machine Learning (ML) workloads over long distances, the connecting networks integrate strategically spaced In-Line Amplifiers (ILAs) including 7 ILAs on the Amarillo corridor and 8 ILAs on the St. Louis corridor which minimizes latency and physical vulnerability. The ILAs ensure the data transmission remains intact between major Points of Presence.

A major global hyperscaler anchors the LSC Tulsa infrastructure. This high-capacity physical foundation is engineered to provide unrestricted, scalable capacity for hyperscalers, neoclouds, and enterprises across the region’s key sectors, including energy, advanced manufacturing, aerospace and defense, logistics, and financial services.

LSC’s core Tulsa metro rings are active and available for immediate dark fiber allocation.
